This Privacy Policy explains how METANIMBUS INC. (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Lightwell mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
Lightwell is an AI-powered spiritual support and community app. Because you may choose to share sensitive information about your emotions, spiritual life, and relationships, we want to be transparent about how we handle your data.
By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide to Us
- Account information
When you create an account, we may collect information such as your name or display name, email address, username, password, language preference, and basic profile details.
- Profile and preference information
This may include your selected AI Pastor persona (e.g., gender, tone, background), your interests, group preferences, prayer topics, and other information you choose to provide to personalize your experience.
- Subscription and referral information
If you purchase a paid plan, we may collect information related to your subscription status (for example, plan type, renewal dates, and associated Quotas).
If you participate in our referral or invitation program, we may collect and store your referral code, information about invitations you send, and whether invited users sign up or subscribe, so that we can calculate and apply rewards.
- Chat and prayer content
When you use the AI Pastor chat, request prayers, draw Blessing Cards, or participate in group conversations, we process the text, audio (if applicable), and other content you submit. This content may include sensitive personal information, such as your religious beliefs, emotional state, or health-related concerns, because you choose to share it.
- Group chats and matching
If you join group chats or connect with other users, we collect the messages you send, the groups you join, your interactions (e.g., reactions, replies, prayer requests), and your meetup preferences.
- Support and communication
When you contact us (for example, by email or in-app support), we collect the information you choose to provide, such as your contact details and a description of the issue.
- Surveys and feedback
We may ask for feedback or invite you to participate in surveys. If you respond, we collect your responses and any additional information you provide.
1.2 Information We Collect Automatically
When you use the Service, we may automatically collect:
- Device and usage information
Such as your device model, operating system, app version, settings, IP address, time zone, language, and identifiers associated with your device or account.
We may also collect information about how you interact with the Service (e.g., features used, screens viewed, time spent, in-app events, Quota consumption).
- Log information
Such as access times, pages/screens viewed, crash logs, and diagnostic data.
- Approximate location
We may infer an approximate location (e.g., country or region) from your IP address to provide appropriate content, safety information, or comply with local laws. We do not require precise GPS location.
We may use cookies or similar technologies (where applicable) to help operate and analyze the Service.
1.3 Information from Third Parties
We may receive information about you from:
- App stores and platforms (e.g., Google Play) related to purchases, subscriptions, or app installation.
- Payment processors, where applicable, providing limited transaction details (we do not receive your full payment card number when handled by third parties).
- Analytics or crash-reporting providers, who help us understand app performance.
- Sign-in or identity providers if you choose to log in using a third-party account (where supported).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide and maintain the Service
- Operating the AI Pastor chat, Blessing Cards, group chats, meetup matching, Quotas, and related features.
- Processing your account registration, authentication, and subscription status.
- Delivering messages, notifications, and other in-app content.
- To personalize your experience
- Remembering your selected AI Pastor persona, language, and preferences.
- Suggesting groups or individuals that may be a good fit for you.
- Tailoring prompts, Blessing Cards, and recommendations to your context.
- To enable AI functionality
- Using your input (such as chats and prayer requests) to generate AI responses and Blessing Cards.
- Using de-identified or aggregated data to maintain and improve the performance, safety, and quality of our AI models and features.
- To manage paid plans, Quotas, and rewards
- Using subscription and usage information to provide your plan benefits, track remaining Quotas, process renewals or cancellations, and apply any promotional or referral rewards.
- To operate and protect the referral program
- Using referral and invitation data to attribute rewards, detect potential abuse or fraud (such as fake accounts or spam activity), and enforce the limits and rules of any referral or invitation program.
- To ensure safety and moderate content
- Detecting and addressing violations of our Terms of Service and community guidelines.
- Responding to reports of abuse, fraud, or harmful behavior in chats or groups.
- Taking steps to protect users and our Service from misuse.
- To communicate with you
- Sending you important updates about the Service (e.g., changes to terms, security alerts).
- Responding to your questions, requests, or support tickets.
- Sending optional, non-essential communications about new features, if you choose to receive them.
- To analyze and improve the Service
- Understanding how users interact with the app.
- Fixing bugs, improving performance, and designing new features.

4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share your information in the following ways:
4.1 Service Providers
We may share information with trusted third-party vendors who help us operate the Service, such as:
- cloud hosting and storage providers,
- analytics and crash-reporting services,
- payment and subscription processors,
- customer support tools, and
- security and moderation providers.
These providers are permitted to process your information only to perform services on our behalf and are required to protect it.
4.2 Community Interactions
When you participate in group chats or prayer rooms:
- Other members can see the messages and content you post in those spaces.
- Your display name, chosen avatar, and any profile information you share may be visible to others.
Please be careful about the amount of personal information you share in public or semi-public areas of the app.
4.3 Payments and app stores
In connection with subscriptions and in-app purchases, we may receive limited billing or transaction information from app stores or payment processors (such as Google Play), and we may share information with them as needed to complete transactions, handle refunds where applicable, and prevent fraud. We do not receive or store your full payment card number when transactions are processed by third-party app stores or payment providers.
4.4 Legal and Safety
We may disclose information if we believe, in good faith, that it is reasonably necessary to:
- comply with applicable laws, regulations, or legal processes (such as a subpoena or court order);
- protect the rights, property, or safety of our users, the public, or us;
- detect, prevent, or respond to fraud, security issues, or technical problems;
- enforce our Terms of Service and other agreements.
4.5 Business Transfers
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

5.1 Account and Content Controls
- You can update certain account and profile information directly in the app.
- You may be able to edit or delete specific messages or prayer entries, depending on the feature. Note that copies of deleted content may remain in backups or logs for a limited period.
5.2 Marketing Communications
We may send you optional emails or in-app messages about new features or updates. You can opt out of non-essential marketing communications by following the unsubscribe instructions in the message or adjusting your settings (where available).
5.3 Access, Correction, Deletion
Depending on your location, you may have rights such as:
- requesting access to the personal information we hold about you;
- asking us to correct inaccurate information;
- requesting deletion of certain data;
- objecting to or restricting certain processing;
- requesting a copy of your data in a portable format.

When information is no longer needed, we will delete it or de-identify it in a reasonable manner.

You can help protect your account by keeping your login credentials confidential and notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

We are a company based in the United States, and we may process and store your information in the U.S. and other countries where our service providers operate. These locations may have data protection laws that are different from those in your country.
Where required by law, we take steps to ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information when it is transferred internationally.

The Service is intended for users who are 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
